The icare and UTS Business School WIL Partnership: Delivering Positive Social Impact for the Community of NSW

2024 ACEN Case Study Finalist

The “icare and UTS Business School WIL Partnership delivers scalable, equitable, purposeful and formative WIL experiences for all undergraduate management students at UTS Business School. Each semester NSW’s largest insurer icare, invites under-graduate management student groups to pitch for a tender to address an icare real-world “challenge” related to a current business need. The pitch is assessed as part of a core undergraduate management subject. The industry partnership aims to inspire a quality WIL experience for a large and diverse cohort of students, driving positive social impact across a breadth of stakeholders: students, icare and its employees, and the community of NSW.
